Dr. Yardaena Osband is a pediatrician and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College. She is also the Managing Director of Searchlight Science, a boutique life-sciences consulting firm specializing in scientific strategy and advisory services. Dr. Osband graduated from the Sackler School of Medicine and has dedicated her career to the care and well-being of children, both in clinical practice and through community service. She has served—and continues to serve—as a camp doctor at Camp Moshava in Pennsylvania, an experience that has strengthened her belief in the transformative power of giving children, including those with medical challenges, the chance to thrive in a joyful camp environment. Together with her family, she helped establish the Dr. Michael E. Osband Gift of Life Senior Swab Program, promoting lifesaving bone marrow donor registration among young adults. Originally from the United States, Dr. Osband moved to Israel in 2021 and lives in Modi’in with her family.
