Shalom is an industrial and management engineer with a degree in management and human resources. He served as a Bnei Akiva emissary in Los Angeles and as the CEO of the Kibbutz Lavi Hotel. In January 2023, Shalom became the CEO of Jordan River Village with a sense of mission and a desire to engage in social action and spread goodness in Israeli society. He is married to Liat and they have seven children and live at Kibbutz Lavi.
