Dr. Farbstein graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Technion, as was specialist in general surgery. From 1989 to 2013 director of the Puriya Medical Center. From 1995 to 2003, Dr. Farbstein served as the first chairman of hospital administrators. He also was a member of the board of Sharel, a medical supply company.
