Aviva Petersburg is one of the founders of Jordan River Village and has been a Board Member since its establishment, actively involved in fundraising efforts. The Petersburg family donated the Petting Zoo at the Village in memory of their daughter, Sharon, who passed away from leukemia at the age of eight and a half. In addition to her work with JRV, Aviva volunteers with the IDF and is actively engaged in supporting children with illnesses and medical assistance initiatives.
