Shira Leeds has spent her entire career working in non-profit. Shira worked for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) in the capacity of Director of Development Support Services and Manager of Public Information. While at JDRF, she worked closely with the JDRF Israel affiliate, assisting them with fundraising events in the United States. Prior to her work at JDRF, Shira worked for the Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life (COEJL) as their Communications Coordinator. She holds a BA from the University of Maryland in Jewish Studies, and a MA from Brandeis University in Near Eastern and Jewish Studies. Shira lives in New Jersey with her husband, Alan and her three children, Joshua, Shoshana and Danielle.
